Our Commitment

ShareofAnswer.is is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to achieve this goal.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

We are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partial conformance means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to address remaining gaps.

Measures We Take

ShareofAnswer.is takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:

• Semantic HTML elements and ARIA landmarks to support screen reader navigation.
• Sufficient colour contrast ratios between text and background throughout the interface.
• Keyboard navigation support. All interactive elements are reachable and operable without a mouse.
• Focus indicators are visible on all interactive elements.
• Form fields include associated labels and descriptive error messages.
• Images include descriptive alt text where meaningful, and decorative images are hidden from assistive technologies.
• Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
• The interface is built with responsive design so it works across a range of screen sizes and orientations.

ShareofAnswer.is is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies and browser combinations:

• NVDA screen reader with Firefox on Windows
• JAWS screen reader with Chrome on Windows
• VoiceOver with Safari on macOS and iOS
• TalkBack with Chrome on Android
• Keyboard-only navigation in all modern browsers

Known Limitations

While we aim for full conformance, some third-party components used within the interface may have accessibility gaps that are outside our direct control. We are working to identify and address these areas. If you encounter a specific barrier, please contact us so we can prioritise a fix.
